Welcome to Steam Virtual Academy's Special Education Program, a part of LAUSD's Special Education Local Plan Area. Our virtual academy serves students with diverse needs, providing remote learning options.

We adhere to strict standards, ensuring compliance with evaluations and offering on-site support from our Special Education Coordinator and Support Staff. Additional services like counseling and speech therapy are available through partnerships with external agencies.

Inclusivity is key. We integrate students with disabilities into mainstream settings whenever possible, supporting them with resources outlined in their IEPs. We prioritize open communication and are always open to reassessment or review.
